Independent technology and product due diligence
Know what a company’s technology and product are really worth before the money moves. Agents collect the evidence across code and product. I decide what matters. You get one clear report, usually in about five business days.
Who it is for
Investors deciding. Founders preparing.
For investors
An independent read that goes past the founder’s deck. Before you commit capital, I scan the codebase, review architecture and product, and tell you what is real and what it will cost.
For founders
Walk into your raise knowing where you stand and what to fix before anyone asks. No surprises in the data room. No question you cannot answer.
The problem
What diligence catches.
Most deals carry the same hidden risks: secrets sitting in the codebase, architecture that works at ten customers and breaks at a hundred, core IP the company does not fully own, a data moat that is really just stored data, and a retention curve bending toward zero behind a roadmap that has drifted from the revenue story.
A pitch deck will not show you any of it. An independent read does, before you commit the capital.
Offers
Tech, product, full suite, or a 48-hour check.
Technology due diligence
A complete read across seven domains, from code and architecture to security, reliability, dependencies, and IP. Agents collect the evidence. I tell you what actually matters and what to do about it.
Timing & commercial
~5 business days · fixed fee after discovery
Product due diligence
A pure product read across seven domains, from problem validation and product-market fit to retention, data, and moat. The part most technical diligence skips. I have owned product alongside engineering, so I know where it hides.
Timing & commercial
~5 business days · fixed fee after discovery
Full suite diligence
Both, together and connected across four lenses: cost, capability, speed, and ownership. Technical findings feed the product picture, like infrastructure cost into unit economics. One report for the people making the decision.
Timing & commercial
5–7 business days · fixed fee after discovery
48-hour investor-ready health check
When the clock is shorter than a full engagement. A fast, honest read scoped for what an investor needs to know now. Not a substitute for full suite when the deal warrants depth.
Timing & commercial
48 hours · fixed fee after discovery
Process
How it works.
Scope
A short call to understand the company, the stage, and what you actually need to know. We agree the scope and what you will get.
Scan
AI agents across the codebase, infrastructure, and docs. They read thoroughly, not just a sample, in a matter of hours.
Decide
I go through every finding myself and decide what matters at your stage. That judgement is the part you are paying for.
Support
A clear report, a live walkthrough, and a fix-it plan in priority order. Then I am around for the questions that follow.

Sample report
See exactly what you get.
I am not going to ask you to take my word for it. Here is a full sample report on a fictional Series A company, Meridian, with the same depth and format as the real thing. Read it before we ever speak.
After the report
Take it and run, or stay in the seat.
Some clients take the findings and run. Others want hands-on help fixing what diligence surfaced. The fractional / interim CTO retainer is there if you want the seat afterwards. There is no obligation. Plenty of people take the report and execute themselves.
The read uses the same method as the seat: agents collect and draft, then I decide. That method is written up in how I work.
If the brief is scale or architecture rather than capital diligence, see Architecture & scale review.
Operator credibility
I have run the systems diligence is built to test.
